What a great and unique experience! We opted for the 30 minute session, which I think was the perfect amount of time. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and informative. We left feeling very relaxed and slept great that evening after soaking in the minerals!

Wow!! Such an amazing experience! My husband and I had a short trip to explore around Berkeley springs for his birthday. We had heard of the Roman bath house but had no concrete plans of going until an employee of a nearby shop highly suggested it. Man what a wonderful experience!! Nathan at the front desk was nothing short of fantastic. He explained everything to us and got us right in! The bath itself is in a private room so clothing is optional. The water is from the spring and they heat it up. Ours was 105 degrees and felt amazing. There was a window we could crack (from the top so no one could see us). You could go in for a half hour or full hour but they said they recommend half hour for 1st timers and I’m glad they pointed us in that direction. There is a water station inside your room so you’re able to stay hydrated. This was a very unwinding and relaxing experience! Plus right outside is a cute little park and area to dip your feet and legs into the outdoor spring.

My fiancé took me here for my bday and We had such a wonderful time! We got an hour a piece. Which to be honest was way longer than we needed. It was enjoyable. The water is of course hot and they fill your tub as you watch. They give you a pitcher of spring water and some cups. Because like I said, it’s hot. There is a large window you can open to alleviate steam. We could have done 30 mins and been just as happy. With the hour, we were getting out before the hour was up. It was a struggle to get our clothes on in the steamy room and there isn’t much space to do so if it’s more than one person. So I would suggest loose fitting clothing and a hair tie. I wanted to look pretty for my bday so I wore make up. I don’t know what I was thinking. It sweats right off your face. There a lot of people you will meet from all over the world awaiting their turn to bathe. There are couches for when get out to allow your body temp to return to normal before you head outside. We will come back. 1000%. We came from Harrisburg. Also they sell $1 empty jugs to fill up for free from the spring outside, or you’re welcome to bring your own. We paid for the jugs, just to help out the bath house since the water is free.
