Soak the DC stress off of you! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Berkeley Hot Springs. It’s hard to find public natural hot springs on the East Coast. High in magnesium and other minerals, it definitely calms the nerves and nourishes the Soul. You’re given a robe and slippers and the pool is private. I recommend for a chill experience, especially in the winter. It’s quaint… not bougee… and totally affordable.

Healing waters from the hot mineral springs. Private pools with robes, slippers, and water. They also offer massage, cupping, sauna, paraffin wax hand treatment. Showers and locker rooms available, free of charge. It's so rejuvenating and the state park employees are wonderful. Very reasonably priced. You can buy a gallon of the water to drink for only $1.

Decided to try this place instead of the Renaissance spa, NEVER AGAIN. The actual massage was mid, it wasn’t terrible but certainly not good. The massage “rooms” were just separated by curtains so I could hear the person next to be talking to her massage therapist the entire time. Then at the end, they charge me 20$ more than the price advertised online on their own website. I pointed this out and they refused to honor the price and said it “wasn’t their problem” that the “old price” was still up on their website. I will never be back and I’d recommend you choose a different spa.
