Massage is really good and the only thing I can comment is language barrier. It’s difficult to communicate with her so I suggest talking to her by phrase and gesture.. she also requires tip ahead of time lol! And payment before the service,I remember I had massage at California and that is the same practice too…at first it was a bit shady when I came.. i have to tell her that I called for an appointment (which i did) and she let me in. i feel like she has some trust issue with strangers probably lol! It was actually the second time I came to visit the place and my first time to actually get the service. My first attempt to book failed since I really can’t understand her language ,after some months ,I tried to get an appointment and talk to use using phrase like “ i want a massage” lol…then, i said “today at 4pm” I have to rephrase and said 4oclock? Can I come? Now? She said yes so finally I got an appointment! Inside ,I just point to the picture which tells how much the service is ..and yes she will ask you or tell you about the TIP ,,she said she only gets the tip and has to pay a lot ,at least I got that message lol ! And they don’t have card payments so bring your cash.. After the massage ,I tried to talk to her again,,,she is nice but and I tried to understand our indifference..massage was really great ! I will recommend it and I hope those who will visit to get their service must understand their culture and indifferences when it comes to their practice. That’s all !

I'll offer my experience to help the next customer set expectations for this business. I'll start by saying that the Asian woman who does the massages is nice and kind but is unintentionally unprofessional due to culural and language barriers and unfamiliarity with business norms. The following are my critiques. Strange Business Practices: She keeps the entrance door chained and locked despite being open for business. She'll meet you at the door upon hearing the sounds of chains clinking and becoming taut against the pull of the door. She'll peek her head between the still chained doorway to verify if you have an appointment or if you're a walk-in. I had an appointment, so she unlocked the chains and let me in. During my time there, it became very apparent that this odd practice was for her safety because she is there all alone and had to pause my massage to respond to some troublesome individual(s) that she refers to as "no good". The inside is a dimly lit makeshift massage parlor. The appearance of the place coupled with the details from previous paragraph makes me caution potential customers for their safety. I am a tall man with a fit muscular frame, so I felt confident that I could overcome any threats. But again, caution. There is no cash register or receptionist. She only accepts cash and takes payment before starting service. At the end of service she insist on a tip saying, "you have to tip me". And she doesn't understand making change. Also, besides the interruptions you'll experience everytime a customer tries to open the door, she will answer her phone calls mid-session, pause the massage, and apologize after ending the call. Speaking of her phone, she plays "soothing" music from her phone on which the playlist alternates between senual R&B and jazzy Christmas tunes. Language Barrier: Simply put, she does not speak English well at all and seemingly only knows a few words and phrases. However, she is resourceful and uses a translator app on her phone to communicate where her language fails her. But be prepared for some weird translations due to words not translating well from her language to English. I won't get into specifics because her choice of words and failed app translations can be quite embarrassing, unprofessional, and give a completely wrong impression of the type of business she is running LOL. Privacy Etiquette: So, I've had many massages in the past and the common etiquette is for the therapist to leave the room and allow you to disrobe to your comfort level. Yeah, that didn't happen. She stands there and mimes for you to remove your clothes, and insist that you remove ALL of them. Yes, even your underwear. So be comfortable with being fully nude I guess. Massage Quality: I understand why a previous reviewer described the massage as just "fair at best". While she does incorporate legitimate massage techniques, if you have moderate to severe muscle aches, you will leave there still having those aches, just really relaxed and achy. She does not penetrate the muscle deeply at all, just very surface level strokes. Overall, if you just want a relaxing Swedish massage, this may be for you. If you actually need pain relief, go elsewhere.
